Hospitality Lounge: A comfortable setting for discharge patients

After a hospital stay, and upon being discharged, patients may need to wait a little longer for transportation or billing matters to be sorted out. With this in mind, Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur has set up a Hospitality Lounge, a comfortable place for discharge patients to relax whilst waiting.

Our Hospitality Lounge offers a quiet and cosy environment, away from the hustle and bustle of a regular hospital ward. We have fitted the lounge with a comfortable seating area to ensure our patients have a relaxing space to unwind in. The Lounge also offers complimentary meals, beverages, complimentary Wi-Fi and designated electrical charging outlets for your convenience. Additionally, our dedicated Front Office staff is available to welcome and assist you with your needs.

This space was created with our patients in mind; we wanted to provide a calm environment for patients being discharged. In line with service improvement, the Hospitality Lounge also allows us to expedite inpatient bed availability, thus speeding up the admission process for patients who are waiting at either the Admission Counter or the Accident & Emergency Department.

The Hospitality Lounge is located at Block A, Level 3, and is open from Monday - Friday at 9 am - 5 pm. If you would like to know more, please refer to the Admission Clerk during your admission. You may also contact the Hospitality Lounge at 03 4141 3424.
