Our dedication to expectant mothers begins at the very start of life itself. Led by our team of highly skilled and experienced consultants in the areas of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics, the maternity services team at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur (GKL) is committed in providing safe and quality care to all patients.

Our friendly and experienced nurses are specially trained in neonatal care, midwifery and lactation to provide optimum care for your newborn.

One of our pride and joy at GKL is our delivery suites and facilities. Since the upgrade, the four delivery suites are designed to be private, spacious, comfortable and convenient. Many facilities have been built-in for that homely feel. Each suite comes with an attached bathroom, a couch and an armchair for the patient’s companions.

Nursery is located on the same floor as the maternity wards. Mothers may request for rooming-in for complete breastfeeding. Lactation assistance is also available for new mothers. The hospital is equipped and managed by experienced, qualified staff to handle complications and emergencies should they arise.

Dedicated Paediatric Care After Delivery

Welcoming a new baby is a life-changing experience. Our dedicated team of highly-skilled Paediatric specialists are always on-site and available to provide you with high quality medical, surgical and rehabilitative care for infants and children up to the age of 12 years old.

As each child has its own unique needs, our team of 8 Paediatric consultants utilise modern technology of medical treatment in neonatal intensive care, general paediatrics and behavioural medicine to ensure that every child is given the necessary treatment and care, making your journey through parenthood, one enriching experience.
