• Dato’ Dr Sahabudin is a Consultant Urologist at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Prince Court Medical Centre. I served as the Head of Department of urology Hospital Pulau Pinang from 1990 to 1997 and Hospital Kuala Lumpur from September 2000 to 2007. I helped establish the Board of Urology and Chairman of the Board since 2000 to 2007. I was Adjunct Professor UKM since 2000 to 2005 and UITM since 2005.
• I served as President of the Malaysian Urological Association from 2000 to 2004, and as President of the Urological Association of Asia from 2002-2004.I have been Organizing Chairman for more than 10 International Conferences in Urology, have served on various Committees in the Ministry of Health, and was a Member of the Steering Committee of the World Health Organization for 3 years on International Consultation and new developments in Prostate Cancer and Prostate Disease.
• My special interests are Prostate Disease, Prostate Cancer and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Urology. I pioneered and served as Director of the Robotic Surgery Program in the Ministry of Health and was instrumental in successfully establishing Robotic Surgery in Malaysia.
