Acute medical conditions e.g. sepsis, acute febrile illness, fever of unknown origin, pneumonia, meningitis, acute gastroenteritis, dengue fever, urinary tract infection, tuberculosis, acute allergic reaction, congestive cardiac failure, atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, acute pancreatitis, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism etc. Proteinuria, hematuria, nephrotic syndrome, primary and secondary glomerular disease e.g. lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, membranous nephropathy etc. Chronic Kidney Disease, prevention, intervention and delaying of end stage renal disease. Dialysis and dialysis related medical problems and complications. Renal transplant and transplant related medical problems and complications.

Dialysis including Hemodialysis, Hemodiafiltration, Peritoneal dialysis, CAPD, APD, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), CVVH CVVHD, CVVHDF. Pre-renal transplant work up, post renal transplant monitoring and follow up. Ultrasound guided biopsy and Ultrasound guided dialysis catheter access. General procedures in critical care including central venous pressure (CVP) line cannulation, chest tube insertion, pleural cavity drainage, ultrasound guided drainage of fluid collection, paracentesis for ascites, pericardiocentesis, Temporary pacing, elective cardio version, arterial cannulatio, arterial puncture etc General medical procedures including urinary catheterisation, bladder tap, cystostomy and insertion of suprapubic tube into bladder, lumbar puncture, trephine biopsy of bone marrow, bone marrow aspiration, biopsy of skin or subcutaneous tissue etc. 

Dr. Lee Han Wei graduated from Medical School of Malaya University (UM) in 1997 and began his career in Sabah immediately after graduation. Dr. Lee obtained the qualification as specialist in Internal Medicine and accredited as Member of Royal College of Physician of London, UK, MRCP(UK) in 2002. Dr. Lee then pursued subspecialty training in Nephrology at National University Hospital of Singapore, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Selayang

He has special interest in dialysis, kidney transplantation, prevention of kidney diseases, diabetic kidney disease and hypertension
