Cardiovascular and lung centre - a 24/7 centre that provides a comprehensive range of cardiac, lung and vascular services for both adult and child patients. This centre is equipped with a specialised cardiac and thoracic theater as well as an intensive care unit.

Brain and nerve centre - a 24/7 and fully integrated in-house team comprising ready to treat patients diagnosed with brain injuries, epilepsy, sleep disorders, strokes, and neck and spine conditions. The centre also offers Brain Stimulation Therapy via repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).

Room Facilities

Our rooms does not only come with amazing views but also meals prepared by our in-house kitchen. This is to ensure that only the best is served to our patients and their guests during their stay. Each in-patient is provided a menu for three meals and one coffee/tea with light refreshments, each day. Additional coffee and tea is also available upon request. In addition to the in-patient meals, we are pleased to provide you and your guests an option for ala carte meals highlighted in a provided menu. The in-house Food and Beverage team is also able to assist in making any occasion a memorable one. Your birthdays and anniversaries can be catered for in the hospital, as a special arrangement and with prior request.

Permission to visit outside normal hours may be granted at the discretion of the Nurse Manager of each ward/unit who takes into consideration clinical and operational factors, including the much needed rest and sleep as well as the possible interruption to the planned treatment and care.

Visitors’ Guidelines

We at Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu takes infection control seriously hence our policy of no children visitors below the age of 12 years old in ICU. Visitors are also encouraged to observe a few simple rules to reduce the risk of spreading and contracting infections. They are:

-Practice hand hygiene. Washing your hands with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is one of the easiest way to perform hand hygiene. Our hospital is equipped with hand sanitizer dispensers in hallways and outside patients’ rooms.

-Prevent the spread of infection. If you, your family or friends have infections such as cough, cold, fever or rash, please ask them not to visit until they feel better.

Please note that we do not allow flowers and plants into all sterile areas including ICU, PICU, NICU.
