Dr. Chan Kok Yu is an orthopaedic surgeon registered in the National Specialist Register, Malaysia. He obtained his medical degree at University of Malaya in 1999. After undergoing specialist training in orthopaedic surgery, he was conferred the Master of Orthopaedic Surgery degree from University of Malaya in 2008.

Dr. Chan then served as an orthopaedic surgeon under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. In 2010, Dr. Chan furthered his training in joint replacement surgery and sports surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore, under a clinical fellowship.

Dr. Chan continues to update his knowledge and skills by participating in international workshops and scientific meetings. He has also undergone further training in cartilage repair surgery in Chicago, USA and hip arthroscopy in York, UK.
