Apart from performing the entire range of paediatric surgical procedures, Mr. Nadesh also performs advanced laparoscopic gastrointestinal and colorectal procedures, laparoscopic biopsies of tumours and laparoscopic appendicectomies. He is an expert in dealing with intra-abdominal testis laparoscopically. He also has vast experience in dealing with infective conditions of the chest cavity (empyemas) thoracoscopically.
His expertise also extends to paediatric urology for which he has been formally trained overseas and deals extensively with the entire spectrum of this field, e.g. reconstructive procedures for vesico-ureteric reflux, pelvi-ureteric junction , bladder augmentation, obstruction and hypospadias surgery with good results. His skills in endoscopic surgery of the urinary tract is commendable.
Mr. Nadesh acquired most of his paediatric surgical training at tertiary centre of excellence overseas. His formative years were at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow, Scotland, where he was exposed to advanced training in all branches of paediatric surgery and paediatric urology, as well as intensive care of surgical neonates. He also spent valuable years in Nottingham, England, and successfully obtained his FRCS (Paediatric Surgery) qualification.
Mr. Nadesh achieved an advanced degree in Paediatric Surgery from the United Kingdom. He is also formally trained in advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, acquiring this experience after spending a year at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia.
