Datin Dr Rohamini Sibin graduated from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 1996 and obtained her Master’s in Surgery in 2003 also from UKM. She is a Sabahan and the only female surgeon from Papar. She is a certified Advance Trauma Life Support
Provider and a certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA). She attended IRCAD Taiwan General Surgery Course and Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Attachment in Vietnam. She has 16 years’ experience as a general surgeon in Queen Elizabeth Hospital
(QEH) where she is currently the Head of Surgical Department. She is also a President of Sabah Surgical Society based in QEH. She is an invited UMS lecturer, Ministry of Health (MOH) trainer for Master of Surgery students in UKM, UM and also an invited
lecturer for post basic Endoscopy (MOH).
