Apart from diagnostic imaging work with CT scan, MRI and Ultrasound (including Doppler examination and Shear Wave Elastography), mammography and Fluoroscopic studies, Dr. Too also performs a vast number of
interventional procedures including percutaneous guided procedures with CT, Ultrasound or Fluoroscopy as well as angiographic / venographic studies.
Dr. Too’s basic education was in Terengganu and his basic medical degree was from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in year 1999.
Upon graduation, he moved to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, to serve as a house officer and a medical officer at Queen Elizabeth General Hospital. He worked at the hospital for 4 years and obtained his early radiological training and exposure in the Radiology Department during the last 2 years of his service. He continued to pursue his 4-year postgraduate degree at University Hospital (PPUM) and obtained his Master in Radiology from University of Malaya in 2007. He also obtained Distinctions in Part 1 and Part 3 of the postgraduate examination.
Dr. Too worked for a year as a Lecturer and Clinical Radiologist at University Hospital (PPUM). He was exposed to Interventional Radiology during his service at PPUM. Subsequently, he moved to Penang and worked at Lam Wah Ee hospital. He later received his Fellowship in Radiology (FRCR) from London, UK in 2010.
Dr. Too always keeps himself up-to-date with current Radiology knowledge and development by attending local and international conferences and workshops.
