Store Clerk

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties

• Receiving and storage of supplies in a proper and orderly manner in the store

• To do receiving in the system and generate Goods Receive Notes

• To update bin cards and arrange all stock on the shelf neatly

• To tag all ‘tagging items’ with their respective stock code

• To issue out stock based on the stock par level set up for the respective wards and departments on their allocated day

• To properly document, keeping accurate records of the movement of supplies issued out from the store

• To monitor the movement of supplies and inform the Storekeeper of low levels of stock

• To ensure that all equipment under the store department is used properly and maintained in good working condition

• To render assistance in carrying out the stock check or the annual stock take exercise

• To inform of any breach of security in the store areas

• Keep the Store areas clean and tidy

Requirements

• Possess Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in any field

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to hospital policy

• Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Good comparison skills in and organizing skills

• Able to meet deadlines

• Experience in inventory management would be an advantage
