Biomedical Engineer

Responsibilities
  • To assist the Facility Manager in planning organizing and monitoring Biomedical Engineering Department in according to the Medical Device Act and MSQH.
  • To maintain accurate records of all electronic medical and related equipment and/or systems in Gleneagles Hospital.
  • To design and implement an effective and comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure all medical equipment are in optimal working order.
  • To ensure the effective implementation of the preventive maintenance programs. formulated for the various equipment and services
  • To submit monthly reports and other special reports or written assignments as and when required.
  • To assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements
  • Master / Bachelor in Engineering / Biomedical Electronics
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience at supervisory level in doing maintenance and monitoring of Bio-Medical Equipment, preferably in hospital environment.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Honest with a pleasant personality.
  • Able to perform on-call duty.
  • PC literate
